Following the phenomenal success of the performance "Rotkho" in Europe's largest and most respected theatre houses and festivals, Polish director Łukasz Twarkowski and his team return to Dailes teātris. The second part of the director's science trilogy, "The Oracle", explores the connection between science and war.

The production delves into strikingly accurate prophecies of the future and the behind-the-scenes of technology that is already influencing our lives. The performance highlights the discoveries of natural and artificial intelligence made during World War II by English mathematician and logician Alan Turing – the creator of the artificial intelligence test.

"The Oracle" inhabits both post-war Great Britain and a timeless digital world, using thermal imaging and infrared cameras – these are not neutral video art tools, but first and foremost weapons of war. At the same time, with immersive soundscapes and cinematic projections, the performance blurs the line between reality and illusion. The visually stunning and conceptually provocative work reflects on Turing's secrets, his prophetic revelations, and a future clothed in artificial intelligence that we would not have been able to imagine without him.
