Ceļabiedri. Skyforger. Akmenī iekaltās zīmes

As part of the alternative music cycle "Ceļabiedri", a "Skyforger" concert will ring out, in which the group's early works will thunder, mostly from the albums "Semigalls’ Warchant" and “Kauja pie Saules”, returning to the black metal sound.

The event will be introduced by the experimental folk music association "Līgas pH3", whose basis is an interest in unconventional performances of traditional singing, as well as the search for and highlighting of the mythical and archetypal layer in folk songs and the song-performing process itself. The basis is the selection of authentic folk song melodies and daina texts, which are handed over for free and associative arrangement by the group's female members and guest musicians, complementing the chants with dark, saturated, and unusual moods. After diving into the depths of folk songs, the journey will be escalated by the Latvian evil rock’n’roll association “Uguns”, whose membership includes members from ex-Skyforger, Deodium, Pilskalns, and Līgas pH3.
