Izrāde "Pusnakts šovs ar Jūdu Iskariotu"

Everyone knows that one buddy. Judas was an overall super cool guy – gave his toy train to the neighbor boy, fed hungry stray cats, helped the lame climb the stairs, held the door for an old lady, wasn't stuck up at all, though sometimes he had a bit too much to drink. But everyone only talks about that one thing that went wrong.
A heated feminist arrives in heaven and decides to start a quarrel with the corrupt male officials of purgatory. She begins to question the punishment of the super cool guy we all know – did he really deserve to mess up his afterlife in hell just because he betrayed Jesus. A show for adults only begins in purgatory, like a TV studio after midnight.
Warning:
The play makes fun of death, violence, and suicide (specifically - hanging in an olive tree). The characters speak witty retorts in which some might hear homophobia and sexism. Expressions directed against the Irish will be heard (and the characters unashamedly laugh at red-haired and freckled people of other nationalities as well). Dark jokes about eating disorders are heard, words that could offend people of Roma origin are used. Uncensored words have been left uncensored. Antisemitism is ironized, and some characters truly have antisemitic views (even though a large portion of the characters are Jews). However, above all this, the insanely witty play addresses a question important to every self-critical person, whether the torments of conscience are not more deadly than any other punishment.
Performance in Latvian with translation into English in subtitles.
