Koncerts "Dejas saksofonam un akordeonam"

4. Nov – 11. Nov19:00· Kultūras centrs "Ulbrokas Pērle"

The concert program "Dejas saksofonam un akordeonam" is created as a bright, temperamental and stylistically diverse chamber music journey where two particularly expressive instruments meet – the saxophone and the accordion. Both instruments are closely related to the musical language of the 20th and 21st centuries, urban culture, dance rhythms, folk music echoes and genre fusion.

At the center of the program is dance as a universal musical and cultural phenomenon. Here it is not just a rhythmic impulse or a generic reference, but also a way of thinking – bodily energy, movement, dialogue. The program takes the listener through various geographical and stylistic spaces: from Astor Piazzolla's new tango aesthetics to Gorka Hermosa's Iberian dance landscapes, from the intensity of Latin American rhythms to Pedro Iturralde's Greek-inspired festive atmosphere, from Richard Galliano's French and world music colors to Hermeto Pascoal's Brazilian freedom and playfulness.

Outstanding musicians participate in the concert program – accordionist Artūrs Noviks and saxophonist Aigars Raumanis.

Ticket price from 8 euros. Tickets are available at "Biļešu paradīze" box offices, including online.
