Koncerts "Upes pērles"

September 23 is marked as European Folklore Day. Its aim is to draw public attention and promote high-quality, knowledge-based folklore (songs, music, other expressions) performances, and to highlight the special place of folklore heritage in cultural processes.

For the fourth time, the concert "Upes pērles" will take place. Participants of this concert: folklore group "Oglīte" (Ropaži), participants of youth ethno days (Latvija), University of Latvia folklore dance group "Dandari" (Rīga), singer Lidija Dokuzoviča (Croatia), violinist Craig Judelman with the band "Interstate Express" (Germany).
