Interlude multimediāla gaismas un skaņas pieredze

INTERLUDE is a multimedia light and sound experience in the Old Town of Riga, based on a modern interpretation of the mass and providing an opportunity to experience one of the core values of Latvian culture - the tradition of choral music - in a contemporary and emotionally rich form.

The performance takes place in the historic Riga Reformed Church, in the heart of Old Riga. These are 30 minutes just for oneself - in an unforgettable world of sound and light.

INTERLUDE was created in cooperation with leading Latvian artists and creative professionals. At the center of the performance is the spatially multidimensional sound of the State Choir LATVIJA, which, combined with Kaspars Zemītis' guitar music and Māris Kalve's grand light and visual art projections, reveals the structure of the mass as an all-encompassing, immersive audiovisual experience. An exquisite sound of choir and guitar music together with grand multimedia projections in a single story form a powerful, spatial journey that provides both a sense of space and speaks deeply personally.

The performance features the piece "Sanctus. The Return" for guitar by Kaspars Zemītis and the State Academic Choir "Latvija" (originally Mass for choir and guitar), which merges with the paintings of light created by multimedia artist Māris Kalve, meditatively and colorfully bringing the majestic hall of the Reformed Church to life.

The light show takes place every day at 12.00; 13.00; 14.00; 15.00; 16.00; 17.00; 18.00; 19.00

Tickets can be purchased on the website or on site. On-site payments are accepted both by payment card and in cash.
