Ekspozīcija "Grāmata Latvijā"

The permanent exposition of the National Library of Latvia (LNB) "Book in Latvia" is a story inspired by the 21st century and the new image of the library about the history of Latvian book publishing in a global context. At the center of the exposition is the book – both as a material object and as a social and spiritual phenomenon that has changed and is changing society, human lives, and minds.

At a time when Latvia is celebrating 500 years since the first book published in Latvian with an extensive program of events, the exposition “Book in Latvia” is the place where one can best survey the entire panorama of Latvian book history.
