At the center of the program are two composers – Johann Sebastian Bach and Pēteris Vasks. Both composers form the basis of this program, each with their own timeless depth and spiritual intensity. Built around this axis are the remaining pieces: Francesco Geminiani with Baroque colorfulness, Christoph Schaffrath with elegant lightness, and Marin Marais with subtle virtuosity and improvisational character. These works are not just an addition, but an ornamental pattern that highlights the main line, creating contrasts and an opening for various musical perspectives.
