Peace begins in the human soul. The Latvian Radio Choir and conductor Sigvards Kļava invite listeners on a musical journey where the voices of Baltic and Eastern European sacred music meet. Along the human voice, the organ and percussion instruments sound on this journey, giving the music a special space, depth, and breath.

Rihards Dubra's prayer-inspired works Oratio and Visio Remissionis conjure a peaceful and harmonious world where choir voices and percussion sounds merge into a delicate conversation. Giya Kancheli's Lulling the Sun allows one to plunge into a contemplative flow of time and feel the proximity of infinity, while Arvo Pärt's Spiegel im Spiegel invites listening to silence and its simple, clear beauty.

The concert concludes with three different yet equally powerful messages of sacred music — Maija Einfelde's emotionally saturated Lux aeterna, Krzysztof Penderecki's stark Agnus Dei, and Arvo Pärt's Vater unser. From prayer to silence, from fragile light to a deeply personal experience — this is a journey that invites not only to listen, but also to stop and dwell in peace.
