Phil Collins ēras iedvesmoti. Busulis, Prauliņa un Latvijas Radio bigbends

Phil Collins' songs have been part of the world's popular music canon for several decades, both in his solo career and in the repertoire of the band Genesis. In this concert, well-known melodies in the interpretation of Intars Busulis, Kristīne Prauliņa and the Latvian Radio Big Band will gain new musical nuances and the richness of sound characteristic of a big band lineup.

In the concert program, Collins' recognizable melodic signature will meet the sound of the Latvian Radio Big Band, a broad palette of wind instruments, the multi-layered arrangements of Toms Mikāls and Kārlis Vanags, and the individual musical signatures of both soloists. The familiar songs will sound in a new lineup and in a different musical language, preserving what has made Collins' music so recognizable.

The world of the big band has not been foreign to Phil Collins himself either. In the 1990s, he formed the Phil Collins Big Band, in which, together with outstanding jazz musicians, he performed his own and other legendary jazz compositions in new arrangements for big band. At the Riga Congress Hall, Intars Busulis, Kristīne Prauliņa and the Latvian Radio Big Band will create their own version of Collins' music.
