Idea sprint for youth

13.00–17.00 – Idea sprint for Eco-school high school students. With prior registration. Information about registration and the steps to take to participate in the Idea Sprint will be sent to schools.

Excursion

16.00–17.00 – “Sēklu laika kapsula”. Excursion to the seed bank and a short lecture. With prior registration.

Lecture

17.00–18.00 – Lecture “Koks celtniecībā un pirtī – dūmu pirts kā dabas, miera un senču tradīciju satikšanās vieta”. With prior registration.

• Forestry machinery control center – try out a forestry machinery model and get acquainted with the technologies that help monitor the damage caused by forestry machinery.

Creative activities

18.00–22.00

For children: forest bingo and other creative activities.

For adults: “Meža smarža un spēks” – the opportunity to create your own sauna scrub.

Science branch: Forest ecology and silviculture; forest breeding and woody plant adaptation; genetic resources; forest regeneration and afforestation; forest phytopathology and mycology; forest entomology; forest technologies; forest fauna and hunting; forest raw material processing; forest resources and forest statistical inventory.
