Vef Jazz Club. Latviskais džezs

A concert program as a musical journey through the history and present of Latvian jazz, featuring original works by Artūrs Sebrs alongside compositions by Latvian jazz classics – Gunārs Rozenbergs, Uldis Stabulnieks, and Vitālijs Dolgovs. These authors have formed generations that together laid the foundations of Latvian jazz identity – warm, melodic, and emotionally rich. In the program, the freedom of improvisation intertwines with the lyricism of Latvian melody, creating a special mood where tradition meets a contemporary perspective.
