Knuta Skujenieka balva atdzejā

The Salaspils Concert Hall will host for the first time the award ceremony for the Knuts Skujenieks Translation Award, established by the Salaspils Municipality.

The award was established to honor the poet, translator, and recipient of the Statehood Award Knuts Skujenieks and to promote translation processes. The award will be presented once every two years, and professional translators who have translated texts from the original over the past two years or a longer period can be nominated for it.
