Festivāls "Pink Noise Riga". Vintons Marsalis un Linkolna centra Džeza orķestris

The legendary trumpeter, composer and Pulitzer Prize winner Wynton Marsalis and the world-famous JLCO (Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra) founded by him will perform in Riga with a special "Big Band Holidays" program.

Wynton Marsalis is a legend, one of the most influential music figures in the world - an exceptional trumpeter, composer and American cultural ambassador whose achievements extend beyond the boundaries of jazz and classical music.

The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra founded by Marsalis is rightfully considered the world's best jazz orchestra. Together with Marsalis, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra has extensively toured worldwide, but it will arrive in the Baltics and Riga for the first time.

The orchestra's visit and concert at the Pink Noise Riga festival is made unique by the fact that the orchestra will perform outside the USA for the first time with a Christmas music program specially arranged for this big band, "Big Band Holidays”.

‍The program will include festive melodies in original arrangements created by the orchestra members themselves, including Marsalis. Supplementing the orchestra musicians, we will also experience exceptional guest vocalists at the concert, whose names will be revealed later.
