Festivāls Eiropas Ziemassvētki. Ziemas džeza vakars | TRIO ELPO un Matīss Čudars

Winter jazz in the Spīķeri Concert Hall, where we will see guitar virtuoso Matīss Čudars and the jazz association TRIO ELPO on one stage, featuring pianist Edgars Cīrulis, double bassist Jānis Rubiks, and drummer Rūdolfs Dankfelds.

In the first part of the concert, TRIO ELPO will perform music that is a space for peace – a place to meet, refresh, and immerse oneself. This is a great soundtrack for the Latvian winter and the introverted nature of our people, the desire for healthy solitude and contemplation. Meanwhile, in the second part of the concert, Matīss Čudars will join on stage. In new musical explorations, we will hear both Matīss's original compositions and improvisations, as well as, of course, the brightest Christmas melodies in new jazz arrangements.
