Dzejas dienas Bērzainē: dzejkoncerts “Atbrauc pie manis uz rudeni”

On 25 September at 18.00, Bērzaine Library and Bērzaine People's House invite you to a poetry concert "Come to me for the autumn". The programme features poetry by A. Čaks, M. Melgalvs, J. Peters, M. Zālīte, I. Ziedonis, O. Vācietis and others. Guest appearances by musician Krišjānis Valters and pianist Zigurds Turss.

This year's Poetry Days motto is "Poetry sings!", encouraging reflection on the fact that poetry has been present in human life since time immemorial, when poetry and music were an inseparable whole in which rhythm and word served as a unified language. During these Poetry Days we invite you to follow rhythmic and inspiring poetry that is not only to be read but also to be heard, poetry with and without musical accompaniment, poetry to listen to and to hear.
