Director Liena Šmukste's play BEZGALĪGAIS RITUMS.

It is a performance staged in the technique of senses, using fragments from Edvarts Virza's “Straumēni”.

No one will see this play, but will experience it through sounds, scents, touch, and contacts, the calm flow of life and nature. The director says, "At a time when the world is running fast and it seems hours have become shorter, technology takes over everything, people more often experience a sense of anxiety and panic attacks. The feeling creeps in that you want to stop, take only your closest people with you or be alone and return to the beginnings – peace, the flow of time, cyclicality, authentic sounds, nature – the order of things as our ancestors knew them. But right now it is not so easy to do, because "stepping off a moving train, it is hard to jump back in".” Meanwhile, E. Virza's “Straumēni” is like a harbor of peace, the beginning of everything and the apparent idyll of the world. Time that runs its course, nature that lets you smell and feel every breath of the wind to the bone, hear the buzzing of bees, feel the touch of every season.”

The play is suitable for people with visual impairments.
