Pasākums ģimenēm ar bērniem “Kopābūšanā mēs augam!”

The association “Attīstības un inovāciju mācību centrs” invites families with children on September 13, 2026, from 12.00 to 16.00 to the event “Kopābūšanā mēs augam! – Rudens”, which will take place at the National Botanical Garden in Salaspils. The event is intended for families with preschool and school-age children.

On the autumn afternoon, families are invited to be together, work, play and learn something new. In the workshop “Esi eko marķējumu detektīvs!” together with Dr. biol. Iluta Dauškane and educator Vēsma Madžule, children and parents will be able to get to know various eco-labels and find out what they tell about products and our choices. Meanwhile, in the “Emociju instrumentu kaste” together with psychologist Inga Rutule and educator Mārīte Petrovska, families will try out games and techniques for emotion regulation and conflict resolution.

In the BOTANIA environmental education workshop “Ko ņemam līdzi no vasaras uz rudeni”, families will focus on changes in nature, while in the improvisation theatre workshop “Ko sapņo ķirbīšu princese?” together with IMPRŪVEN and artist Dace Liepa, they will be able to indulge in imagination, movement and joint creation.

During the event, there will also be a snack break and an opportunity to talk to workshop leaders and experts. Families will also watch together one of the results of the project's first meeting – an animated film created by the children themselves.

From 15.00 the event will be concluded by a musical togetherness with the post-folklore group “Rikši”.

The mascot of the project “Kopābūšanā mēs augam!” is the magical pumpkin flower – a symbol of peace, success and prosperity. In autumn, the flower turns into a pumpkin, reminding that everything valuable in a family also grows gradually – from care, attention and time spent together.

At the same time, on September 13, the National Botanical Garden will also host activities of the project “Ģimenes diena Salaspilī” implemented by the association “Nākotnes Salaspils” and supported by the Salaspils County Municipality – a market of hobby education program implementers, garden games, inflatable attractions, musical accompaniment and educational lectures.
