Vācu dziesmu ansambļa “Windau” koncerts

On September 26, the Ventspils Culture Centre will host the concert “Mūs vieno vācu dziesma” by the German song ensemble “Windau”, bringing together ensembles, musicians, singers, and other concert participants from German cultural societies in Germany and Latvia.

The concert will feature singer Dorotea Locha from Germany, the Ventspils blumīzeristi, the ensemble “Morgenrot” of the Riga German Cultural Society, the ensemble “Windau” of the Ventspils German Cultural Society, students and teachers of the Piltene Music School, the ensemble “Die Lustigen” of the Dobele German Cultural Society, the folklore group “Sītava” of the Puze Culture House, the ensemble “Zusammen sein” of the German Society in Liepāja, as well as singers from the “Deutscher Kulturverein Memel” in Klaipėda.

The concert will be a musical meeting and gathering event where the German song tradition will unite singers and musicians from various Latvian cities and the neighboring country of Klaipėda.
