SIXTH dejas un arhitektūras pastaiga “Telpas kods: šeit un tagad” zinātnes centrā VIZIUM

On September 26 at 17.00 at the Ventspils Science Centre VIZIUM, the production by the collective SIXTH and choreographer Daria Turchenko will premiere, continuing the site-specific performance series “Telpas kods: šeit un tagad”.

The performances of the series “Telpas kods: šeit un tagad” are described as dance and architecture walks, offering visitors a dance performance and an excursion simultaneously. Each performance features more than 10 performances throughout the building – from narrow basement stairs to dancing in front of paintings. The performance unfolds as an experience of body, sound, and architecture, where movement highlights spatial proportions, voids, and materiality, live music creates a constantly changing acoustic environment, and the building itself becomes a full-fledged participant in the performance, influencing the rhythm, trajectories, and the spectator's perception.
