Rīgas Tvīda brauciens

As usual in September, one of the most significant events in Latvian cycling culture will take place on the streets of Riga - the Tweed Ride, in which residents and guests of the city are invited to wear classic, retro-style clothing, spruce up their bicycles, and enjoy the streets of Riga and the city's most beautiful places in a joint ride and celebrate Cycling Festival.

All that is needed to participate in the ride is a bicycle and stylish attire – ranging from 19th-century tailcoats and evening dresses to 1970s disco fashion! Prizes will be provided for the authors of the most outstanding outfits.

During the ride, we will also support the charity movement "Nav bērnības bez velosipēda".
