Raxtu Raxti | Viena saule, viena zeme

With a new concert program and music album already in autumn, the musical association “Raxtu Raxti” will delight listeners all across Latvia. The first part of the concert will feature music from the new album created by the musicians of Raxtu Raxtu, where Latvian folk and world music will resound, as well as brand new original compositions. The group's sound, as usual, will be formed by a wide range of instruments and resonant voices that sound just as good in solo songs as in rich polyphony.

The second part of the concert will feature music that has been played at Raxtu Raxtu concerts since the group's inception, singing songs that are particularly close to the musicians themselves, which have been performed in concerts in Latvia and beyond its borders. Singing along with the listeners will be like strengthening and honoring Latvian identity, with a look to the future – in a free Latvia.
