Opera star Marina Rebeka will give several solo concerts in Latvia!

Marina Rebeka, the most successful soprano in the history of our country, has conquered all the stages that opera divas dream of. It was she who was entrusted to sing Médée on the stage of "La Scala" – a part once stunningly sung there by Maria Callas. The cult opera "Norma" was also staged in Milan after a 48-year break precisely with her, the singer from Latvia!

The Metropolitan Opera and Carnegie Hall in New York, London's Covent Garden, the opera houses of Paris and Vienna, the Berlin State Opera, the Royal Opera of Madrid, and the Salzburg Festival – everywhere the charming native of Riga has been greeted with ovations by the most sophisticated audience. In Latvia, Marina Rebeka has been awarded the Order of the Three Stars, in France – the National Order of Arts and Letters (Ordre des Arts et des Lettres). Listeners from all corners of the world demonstrated their recognition to her last year as well, when Marina received the audience favorite award "Opera News Readers’ award" at the International Opera Awards 2025 ceremony. However, among the countless professional awards, the title of Artist of the Year at the International Classical Music Awards 2020 stands out particularly.
