XI Starptautiskais ērģeļmūzikas festivāls “ORGANismi”Latgales vēstniecībā GORS

From October 3 to 10, the 11th International Organ Music Festival "ORGANismi" will take place at the Latgale Embassy GORS.

The International Organ Music Festival "ORGANismi" in Rēzekne was first heard in October 2015, demonstrating the diversity and possibilities of the organ as a concert instrument. The artistic director of the festival is Rēzekne-born organist Iveta Apkalna, who is considered one of the world's leading solo instrument-players. The birth reason of the festival is the acquisition of the digital organ "Johannus Eclessia" in 2014, allowing the Latgale Embassy GORS to become the first concert hall in Latvia where, along with the new instrument, it was possible to play an even wider musical repertoire, implement new forms of collaboration and sounds. Playing with the words organ (Greek for organ) and organisms, the organizers of the festival reveal yet unimagined possibilities for the interplay of the organ and other arts, centuries, and styles (Latgale Embassy GORS).
