EGILA ROZENBERGA izstāde “LAIKA ZĪMES”

From August 27 to October 25, the art gallery of the Embassy of Latgale GORS will host the tapestry exhibition “Laika zīmes” by Latvian textile artist Egils Rozenbergs. The exhibition focuses on the signs and symbols characteristic of the era, which the artist seeks and interprets in his works, revealing what is characteristic of our time. The exhibition at the Embassy of Latgale GORS will be on view until October 25.

➤ Egils Rozenbergs' exhibition “Laika zīmes” expresses the conviction in its works that the course of time possesses continuity and that our future is rooted in the reflections of the recent past. The artist asks the question – what traces will our fast-fading, rushing time leave, when new technological devices are created every day and when objects admired only recently end up in the dustbin of history? What is more important – man or technological progress? The fading and the enduring is a theme that connects and intrigues.

The art gallery of the Embassy of Latgale GORS can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, from 12.00 to 21.00.
