Latvijas Orientēšanās nakts 2026

On September 18, Liepāja will be one of 22 Latvian cities where the tenth Latvian Orienteering Night will take place - a free three-hour rogaining competition for teams. The competition center will be located at LOC Manēža, Brīvības iela 55, Liepāja. The Orienteering Night has become one of the most anticipated autumn mass sports events in Latvia. It is suitable for both experienced orienteers and beginners, families with children, and teams of friends and colleagues. The competition will take place in a three-hour rogaining format. Teams of 2-5 people will receive maps with checkpoints and will plan their route themselves to collect the highest possible number of points in the allotted time. Competition program on September 18: • from 18.30 - receipt of participant numbers; • from 19.00 - receipt of maps; • at 20.00 - joint start; • at 23.00 - finish; • at around 23.15 - award ceremony. Checking in at checkpoints will take place using the QREvented app by scanning QR codes, so each team needs a charged mobile phone with the ability to install the app. Participation is free of charge. Registration for the competition - until September 14 at 23.59 on the website rogaining.lv/onakts/. The Latvian Orienteering Night in Liepāja is organized by the Latvian Orienteering Federation in cooperation with the Liepāja Sports Department and the orienteering club “DR-Krasts”. The event is co-financed by the Liepāja City Municipality.
