Grāmatu klubiņa tikšanās ar rakstnieci Ilzi Lāci

On 25 September at 15.00, Salas bibliotēka invites you to a Grāmatu klubiņš meeting with writer, translator and lawyer Ilze Lāce.

Ilze Lāce has lived and worked in Belgium and Germany for several years, has translated around 50 works by English and American authors, and since 2011 has published essays and stories. She is the author of three books: “Baloži uz Žozetes jumta” (2020), “Sarunas uz sētas kāpnēm” (2022) and “Plēšputnam līdzi. Romāns ar stāstiem” (2024).

During the meeting there will be an opportunity to talk about the writing process, translation work, literature and life experiences that turn into stories and books.
