Balets "Kazanova"

The ballet, which offers a chance to experience the colorful, breathtaking environment of the 18th century, was created by choreographer Kenneth Tindall, composer Kerry Muzzey, set and costume designer Christopher Oram, and dramatist Ian Kelly.

Giacomo Casanova's life has been captured in all its beauty and possibilities. Thanks to his frank memoirs, we also know this famous 18th-century writer as a priest, musician, actor, lawyer, diplomat, spy, philosopher, and gourmet. And, of course, a passionate lover.

"Casanova was an artist of the moment with an unimaginable ability to be happy, and it was precisely this ability of his that largely charmed people," is how his biographer and the libretto author of this ballet, Ian Kelly, describes Casanova. Casanova tries to peer into the legendary lover's mind and heart, while simultaneously opening a view into the fascinating era.
