Vēja parka “Kurzeme” lokālplānojuma un vides pārskata publiskā apspriešana

On 27.08.2026, Kuldīgas novada dome adopted decisions No. 12 (protocol No. 37 and No. 38), by which it submitted for public consultation and receipt of institutional opinions the local plans and the environmental report draft for the wind park “Kurzeme” in the properties “Klūgu mežs” and in the properties “Alpi” and “Auzkalni”.

The Vides pārraudzības valsts birojs (from February 1, 2025, the Enerģētikas un vides aģentūra, and from October 1, 2025, the Valsts vides dienests) on 15.11.2024 adopted decision No. 4-02/74/2024 “On the Application of the Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment Procedure”, within the framework of which the Environmental Report has been prepared.

Field to which the planning documents relate: Territorial development planning.

The implementation deadline of the local plans is not set, but in accordance with the Teritorijas attīstības plānošanas likums, a local plan is a long-term planning document. The local plan is being developed as amendments to the territorial plan for the wind park “Kurzeme”, which is planned in the Zirņu and Pampāļu parishes of Saldus novads and in the Skrundas parish of Kuldīgas novads.

Affected territory: The area of the local plans is 62.63 ha, including three land units. Information about the land properties included in the territory of the local plans is available on the portal GeoLatvija.lv

Public consultation period: from 12.09.2026 to 13.10.2026.

The public consultation meeting will take place: on 08.10.2026 at 17:00 in a hybrid format (in person and with the option to connect remotely):
