Ķegums People's House together with the Energy Museum invites you on Father's Day to a special event in honour of our fantastic dads!

From 12.00 families will be able to learn about the story of the construction of Ķegums HPP and, through interactive exhibits, find out how the power of water is converted into electricity. The museum's herald Sams will help solve tasks, while on the path to obtaining electric light everyone will be able to light a bulb with their own hands (without a switch). Especially for dads - we offer talks about electric cars and electromobility.

Visitors to the celebration will also have the opportunity to take a look into the museum's storage, where special and rare exhibits are on display, as well as to get creative in various workshops suitable for the whole family.
