Simtgades loterijas mākslas kolekcijas izstāde “Mūsu pašu vērtības”

From August 29 to October 24, a unique art exhibition “Mūsu pašu vērtības” will be on display at Kuldīga Art House. It includes works by both beloved veteran masters and young artists, which adorn the tickets of the Centenary Lottery organized by JSC Latvijas Loto. A part of the collection will be on display at the exhibition.

The idea for the Centenary Lottery arose in 2016 – while preparing for the celebrations of the centenary of the Latvian state, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education and Science, and Latvijas Loto decided to organize a special national-scale instant lottery that would unite residents and promote a patriotic mood among the general public, regardless of nationality, gender, and place of residence. For the first time, a nationwide lottery was assigned a public benefit goal – scholarships for the brightest graduates of secondary education institutions. It was decided to give the lottery ticket an added artistic value, involving Latvian artists in the creation of its design.
