Pieteikšanās grantu programmai “(ie)dvesma”

From 24 August to 20 September, authors of business ideas and already operating companies are invited to apply for the "(ie)dvesma" grant competition and apply for funding of up to 12,000 euros to start or develop their business.

The "(ie)dvesma" grant competition has been implemented for the tenth year by SEB banka in cooperation with partner municipalities, including Mārupes novada pašvaldība. This year, the total amount of grants is up to 108,000 euros, and the maximum amount for one grant is 12,000 euros.

Both private individuals who are only planning to start a business and existing companies that carry out or plan to carry out economic activity in one of the municipalities involved in the programme and have been operating for no longer than five years may apply for a grant.

The selection of applications will take place in three rounds. First, the compliance of the projects with the criteria of the programme regulations will be assessed, then the potential of the business ideas, the applicants' presentations and answers to the jury's questions. The announcement of the competition results and the awarding of the winners is planned for 10 November.

The "(ie)dvesma" grant programme has been running since 2017. Over nine years, support has been received by 80 business projects in various sectors – from manufacturing and food product development to health technologies, artificial intelligence, defence and social innovation solutions. The total funding awarded exceeds 630,000 euros.
