NVO nams aicina uz tiešsaistes semināru “Digitālā drosme un drošība NVO ikdienā: mākslīgais intelekts kā personīgais IT drošības konsultants un asistents”

The NGO House invites representatives of Riga non-governmental organizations – associations and foundations – to participate in the online seminar “Digitālā drosme un drošība NVO ikdienā: mākslīgais intelekts kā personīgais IT drošības konsultants un asistents”, which will take place on September 30 from 14.00 to 17.00.

Leaders of non-governmental organizations, representatives of associations and community activists combine multiple roles on a daily basis. They are simultaneously private individuals and organization representatives who administer social media profiles from personal smart devices, communicate with donors, manage the organization's website and process member data. Due to a lack of resources and specialized IT personnel, digital security issues often cause anxiety or are postponed, exposing the organization to risks of account takeover, website infection, and data leakage.

The goal of the seminar is to strengthen the digital courage and practical skills of NGO representatives by using freely available artificial intelligence chatbots as personal IT security assistants. Instead of learning complex technical theory, participants will learn step-by-step how to prompt the AI chatbot to perform security audits, discover organization and website vulnerabilities, organize data collection processes, and take immediate action in crisis moments.

The seminar will be led by Aleksandrs Ļubinskis – Deputy Head of the Cēsis Digital Center, expert of the European Digital Innovation Hub and Chairman of the Board of the association "NovoFutura", seminar lecturer, teacher at Draudzīgais Aicinājums Cēsis State Gymnasium.
