Mobilā mamogrāfa izbraukums Kārsavā

In Kārsava, the MFD Veselības grupa mobile mammography unit and X-ray cabinet will be operating – on 11 November 2026 from 10:00 to 17:00 at the Kārsavas Kultūrvēstures centrs ''Līču mājas'', Vienības iela 64. It will be possible to undergo both state-funded breast mammography and other X-ray examinations (e.g., lungs, joints).

The mobile digital mammography unit is a specially equipped bus whose trips to various places in Latvia make it easier for women to receive a high-quality mammography examination near their place of residence. State-funded mobile digital mammography trips are provided by the medical institutions "Veselības centrs 4", "Dziedniecība" and "Daugavpils reģionālā slimnīca".

Conditions for the examination:

For women who have received an invitation letter from the National Health Service within the framework of the State Screening Programme, the examination is FREE OF CHARGE (the invitation letter is valid for 2 years from the date of sending).

Diagnostic examination with a doctor's referral, if the doctor has a contract with the NVD – patient co-payment 3.00 EUR.

With a referral from a family doctor or specialist who does not have a contract with the NVD – patient co-payment 42.00 EUR.

X-ray (lungs, joints, etc.): 1 projection with a family doctor's referral – 22.00 EUR.
