Ludza County Municipality invites students, families, and every nature lover to participate in the Forest Days event "Forest Significance and Biodiversity".

The event will take place on September 18 at 12.30 in the new square at Kr. Barona iela 14, Ludza.

Preparing for World Cleanup Day, which will take place in Latvia and elsewhere in the world on September 20, we also invite you in Ludza County to jointly take care of your surroundings. Last year we planted hydrangeas in the city park, but this year we will jointly improve the new square.

During the event, you will be able to learn more about forest management, biodiversity, and the importance of veteran trees, as well as participate in interactive activities. Together we will plant trees and decorative shrubs – spireas, forsythias, buddleias, birchleaf spireas, and birches.

We invite everyone to join, plant their own little tree, and jointly create a beautiful environment together!

Participation in the event is free of charge.
