"Lirisko dzeju meklējot"

Poetry Days are here again - this year for the 61st time - and their motto is "Poetry Sings!"

In Gulbene too, poetry will "sing" this time - it will be read and listened to in a historically romantic environment - around the Vecgulbene Manor - a place where the legendary and poignant love story of Heinrich and Marisa von Wolf, one of the most prominent in the history of Latvian manors, was lived out.

Poets Lāsma Olte, Sintija Kampāne-Štelmahere, and Aleksandrs Barons will participate in the event "In Search of Lyrical Poetry". At the end by the Red Castle, everyone is invited to join a discussion about lyrical poetry in the past and present.

See you on September 13 at 14.00 near the Gulbene District History and Art Museum at Pils iela 3, Gulbene!

In case of rain, the event will take place indoors at the museum.

The event is organized by the Gulbene District Library, supported by the State Culture Capital Foundation.
