Liepājas Simfoniskā orķestra koncerts mazajiem klausītājiem “Vivaldi gadalaiki”

Have you ever thought about how to depict spring bird songs, a thunderstorm on a hot summer day, the rustle of autumn leaves, or slowly swirling snowflakes on a calm winter evening in music?

Antonio Vivaldi is one of the world's most outstanding masters of sound, who with his brilliant imagination and talent was able to bring all four seasons to life in a symphonic score.

In the violin concerto cycle “The Four Seasons”, each piece is like a musical story in which to imagine and feel how nature changes throughout the year. Vivaldi's music is alive, colorful, and full of surprises.

Especially for the youngest generation of listeners of the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, the musical color and surprise score created by Vivaldi will be complemented by actors, directors, and performers Ģirts Šolis and Rihards Zelezņevs. They have prepared a visual and colorfully experimental arrangement of Vivaldi's “The Four Seasons”, which will be a great opportunity for children to experience how music can become an exciting adventure.

Before the concert, young listeners will also have the opportunity to get closer to the orchestra's instruments and try them out themselves.

We recommend children aged 4 and older to attend the concert.
