Mushroom Picking at the Nature House will be a day for everyone who loves nature, the forest and mushrooms — both experienced mushroom pickers and those who are just beginning to explore this fascinating world. IN THE EVENT PROGRAM: - Mushroom species consultations together with mycologists Bring along the mushroom you found or your questions! Mycologists will help you get to know and distinguish mushroom species, as well as tell you about their diversity. - Lecture on boletes Miks Rieksts Hofmanis will talk about these interesting mushrooms. - Masterclass “From bracket fungus to paper” Mushrooms can be edible or inedible — they can also become a material! Together with Līga Jēku, a member of the Mycological Society, we will learn how paper can be created from bracket fungus. - Masterclass “Drawing with mushroom pigment” Mushrooms can also provide color.
