Izstādes “Sievietes kods” atklāšanu.

This autumn, the Dobeles Amatu māja invites you to experience a day where creativity and human stories meet.

The event will start at 10.00 with the opening of the exhibition “Sievietes kods”. The exhibition invites you to look at a woman through the prism of creativity, identity, experience, and self-expression.

In the morning session, visitors will be able to warm up with a cup of warm tea and leisurely enjoy the atmosphere of the event. Until 13.00, everyone is invited to participate in a small activity “Rokdarbu bingo”. It will be an opportunity to walk through the event with an observant eye, notice various things related to handicrafts and-crafts, and perhaps get a nice souvenir. The first 20 participants who complete the bingo task will receive a small surprise gift.

From 11.00 to 15.00, visitors will be able to participate in various creative workshops. They are designed so that everyone – both experienced in crafts and a complete beginner – can try something new.

“Radošās iedvesmas tēja tavam rudenim” will be an opportunity to indulge in creating your own special tea blend by choosing the aroma, taste, and color. Meanwhile, in the workshop “Vēja zvani skanīgam rītam”, you can make a decor - wind chimes, which will bring sound and movement into your daily space.

Ceramics workshop “Dabas nospiedums mālā”. Natural forms and autumn moods can be captured in clay using leaves, plants, and other natural materials. Each participant will be able to create their own unique autumn impression – one that preserves not only the pattern of the leaf, but also the feeling of the specific season.

For those who want to learn one of the oldest textile crafts, there will be an opportunity to take “Pirmos soļus filcēšanas pasaulē”. In the workshop, you can learn the properties of wool and create your own felted piece with your own hands.

A creative transformation is also expected in the workshop “Iepirkuma maisiņa pārvērtības” – a practical item will become an opportunity to experiment with design and give a new character to an everyday object.

The workshop “Aizsardzības zīme tavai mājai” will allow you to look into the world of symbols and signs. Participants will be able to create their own protective sign, inspired by ancient traditions and their meaning.

Meanwhile, in Ilmārs Reimainis' willow weaving demonstrations, you will have the opportunity to watch how practical and aesthetic objects are created from natural material, skill, and patience. It will be an opportunity to try your hand at willow weaving and see the artisan's work process.

At 13.00, every event visitor will be invited to a warm soup, which on a cold autumn day will be a particularly suitable break between workshops, conversations, and viewing the exhibition.

This will not be an event that requires craft experience. Come spend an autumn day leisurely and discover a skill in yourself that you didn't even suspect until now.
