Izstādes “KURSS: Baltijas jūra” atklāšana

On September 18 at 16.00 Durbe Castle invites you to the opening of the exhibition “COURSE: Baltic Sea”.

For centuries, the Baltic Sea has connected ports, countries, and people. Close ties between the port cities of the Baltic Sea were formed with the northern region of the Netherlands, and in the exhibition they can be explored through historical evidence.

The exhibition features items from the collection of the Veenkoloniaal Museum, which tell about shipping as well as ships and people whose lives and fates were connected with the Baltic Sea region.

The exhibition arrived at Durbe Castle thanks to the cooperation of the Tukums Museum with the Veenkoloniaal Museum in the Netherlands.

Admission to the exhibition opening is free of charge.

The exhibition is open from September 18, 2026 to March 23, 2027.
