Izstāde "Herbertam Ernestam Siliņam 100"

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of painter Herberts Ernests Siliņš, the Tukums Museum of Art invites you to the opening of the exhibition "Herbertam Ernestam Siliņam 100" on July 25 at 12.00.

Artworks from the collections of the Tukums Museum and the Latvian National Museum of Art will be on display in the exhibition.

Herberts Ernests Siliņš (1926–2001) is a Latvian painter whose works stand out with a bright, expressive color language and expressive contrasts. Influences of various art trends intertwine in his oeuvre – realism, impressionism, fauvism and abstraction. The artist regularly participated in exhibitions in Latvia and abroad.

The exhibition will be on view from July 25 to November 15, 2026.
