Informatīva lekcija par hronisku nogurumu, izdegšanu un depresiju “Hronisks nogurums, izdegšana vai depresija? Kā atjaunot emocionālo līdzsvaru vai palīdzēt tuviniekam grūtībās.”

On 5 October 2026 from 17.00 to 18.30, Bauskas novada pašvaldība invites anyone interested to a free lecture “Hronisks nogurums, izdegšana vai depresija? Kā atjaunot emocionālo līdzsvaru vai palīdzēt tuviniekam grūtībās.”, which will take place in the cultural hall of Rundāles MFC.

The daily rush, prolonged stress, emotional overload and insufficient rest can cause prolonged fatigue and affect a person's emotional well-being. However, it is not always easy to understand whether we are experiencing simply fatigue, burnout or already depression. During the lecture, there will be an opportunity to better understand the differences between these states, their developmental dynamics, and to learn how to restore emotional balance and help oneself or a loved one.

The lecture will discuss the following questions:

chronic fatigue, burnout and depression – what these states have in common and what is different;

the developmental dynamics of chronic fatigue, burnout and depression;

the importance of understanding one's emotions and needs in the prevention of mood disorders;

how to recognize and understand one's emotions and how to deal with them;

what kind of involvement and communication can help a person who is experiencing emotional difficulties;

what kind of behaviour and communication from those around can be unproductive and unhelpful;

self-care and promoting emotional well-being.

During the lecture, participants will be kindly invited to ask questions and discuss issues relevant to them.

Duration of the lecture – 1.5 hours.

Participation in the lecture is free of charge.

The lecture is organized within the framework of the project of Bauskas novada pašvaldība “Veselības veicināšanas un slimību profilakses pasākumu īstenošana Bauskas novadā” (No. 4.1.2.2/1/24/I/003). The project is implemented with funding from the European Union funds and the Latvian state budget.
