Induļa Zariņa izstāde “Romantiķis. Kolorists. Meistars”

The exhibition was created in cooperation with Rietumu Banka , the Art Museum Zuzeum and the Zariņš family, revealing the oeuvre and artistic heritage of the outstanding Latvian painter Indulis Zariņš (1929-1997)

The exposition consists of works from the Rietumu Bank art collection, the Zuzāns collection, and the Zariņš family collection. The exhibition concept and selection of works were helped shaped by Kristaps Zariņš, Rector of the Art Academy of Latvia, continuing the dialogue with the artistic heritage of Indulis Zariņš and the school of painting established by him.

The exposition is complemented by photographs and biographical archival materials from art historian Ingrīda Burāne and the archives of the Zariņš family, providing an opportunity to get a closer look at the most significant milestones in the life and creative work of Indulis Zariņš.

During the exhibition, a documentary film from the newsreel “Māksla” (1986) will also be screened.
