Iedzīvotāju tikšanās par Amatas ielas pretplūdu dambja projektu

Residents' meeting regarding the Amatas iela anti-flood dam project. The Liepāja municipality invites residents and representatives of boat cooperatives to an in-person meeting with municipal specialists to get acquainted with the planned construction of the anti-flood dam on Amatas iela and the planned solutions. On September 21 at 18.00 on Amatas iela, in the green area between Zāļu and Dunalkas iela. In 2027, it is planned to start the construction of an approximately 1.5 km long anti-flood dam on Amatas iela to reduce the risk of flooding for properties, buildings and roads located near Liepāja ezers. The dam will simultaneously serve as a street. A roadway, pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure, and lighting are planned on it. It is also planned to strengthen the shore of Liepāja ezers and organize the rainwater collection and drainage system.
