Other Riga. Photo exhibition by Evija Džonsone

From September 21, the exhibition “Other Riga” by photographer and artist Evija Džonsone will be on view at the Launkalnes Tautas namā.“I like Riga empty, without people – on Sundays, holidays, in the early morning hours, evenings, and nights. That is when you can see the city differently. I am looking for my Riga!” – says Evija Džonsone. The exhibition features works created while making the book “Riga from the Artist’s Flight”, as well as other views of Riga captured in various years.

Evija Džonsone works in film, theater, and advertising as an artist, stylist, and prop master. Photography has been one of her creative fields for many years.

Admission to the exhibition is free of charge.
