Bezmaksas lekcija topošajiem un jaunajiem vecākiem par zīdīšanu

We invite expectant and new parents to a free lecture on breastfeeding, which will take place on September 17 from 18:30 to 19:30 at Mārupes Kultūras nams (Daugavas iela 29, Mārupe)

The lecture will cover successful initiation of breastfeeding, the first days after childbirth and feeding the baby, breastfeeding positions, as well as the most common problem situations - changes in the baby's weight, milk congestion and pain during breastfeeding. It will also be possible to learn in which cases it is necessary to seek specialist support.

Not only expectant and new parents, but also other family members are invited to participate.

The lecture will be led by internationally certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) and midwife Vaira Avota.

At the end of the lecture, there will be an opportunity to ask questions, and they can also be submitted in advance in the application form.
