Ausekļa Limbažu teātris. Andruss Kivirehks “Tilda un EEP”

➤ The dramatization is based on A. Kivirähk's book “Tilda un putekļu eņģelis”.

Nine-year-old Tilda, after her dad's death in a plane crash, fantasizes a dust angel EEP (I am dust), in whom she sees her dad. EEP gives people beautiful memories and helps them see the forgotten good. Together with Tilda, he experiences everyday events that gradually change those around them – both friend Lukas, who discovers his dream of becoming an actor, and strict store owner Vilhelmīne, who unexpectedly remembers her childhood.

➤ However, inventor Ragnarsons believes that memories and dust are just useless nonsense. When he tries to destroy EEP and other dust angels, Tilda and her friends must find the courage to save them. The story reminds us how important memories, intimacy, and the ability not to lose the brightness of childhood are.

Auseklis Limbaži Theatre is one of the oldest amateur theatres in Latvia, founded in 1884. The theatre operates in the historic Limbaži Theatre House, combining Latvian theatre traditions with contemporary stage art expression. Over the years, the collective has staged diverse performances, participated in international festivals and cultural exchange projects in Europe. The theatre is known for its creative ensemble, long-standing traditions, and the “Spēlesprieks” festival, which turns Limbaži into a lively theatre and culture centre.
