Tēvu dienas pasākums "Ābols no ābeles tālu nekrīt"

On September 13, we invite families to celebrate Father's Day together in Sala! This year, the celebration will take place with the heartfelt motto “Ābols no ābeles tālu nekrēt”, inviting fathers, children, families, and friends to spend the day together by participating in various exciting, sporting, and educational activities.

Starting at 11.00 near Salas Tautas nams, visitors will be greeted by an apple pie tasting, where they can taste and choose their favorite, as well as vote for the tastiest pie. There will be an opportunity to participate in the special challenge “Saskrūvē pareizi”, view machinery, and get involved in Vidusdaugavas NVO activities.

Simultaneously, starting at 11.00 in the Sala secondary school gym, fathers and children will be able to test their strength, agility, and cooperation skills in sports activities, as well as participate in a photo orienteering challenge.

Starting at 12.00 near the dome house “Pienenītes” and on the cycle path, health-promoting activities by the association “Holista” will take place.

The final part of the celebration will begin at 15.30 in the Great Hall of Salas Tautas nams with an award ceremony, and at 16.00 Armands Lozinskis Lūsis will perform with well-known and beloved melodies.
