On September 18 at 19.00 at Sēja Culture House, we invite you to a musical conversation evening “Viss, kas bijis septembrī” with two legends: musician Žoržs Siksna and Radioteātris head Māra Eglīte.
During the talk concert, the artists will deliver musical performances, share memories, anecdotes, and stories about life on and off the stage. It will be an evening where two personalities and two life stories meet.
Žoržs Siksna is one of Latvia's most popular pop singers, whose career on stage spans almost fifty years. His repertoire includes dozens of audience-favorite songs, such as “Muļķe sirds”, “Vālodzīte”, “Genoveva”, “Mana pirmā dziesma” and many others that have become classics of Latvian popular music.
Māra Eglīte is one of the brightest personalities of Latvijas Radio. For more than four decades, she has dedicated her life to radio, becoming an audience-favorite announcer and long-standing head of Radioteātris. Māra's voice is associated by many with professionalism, intelligence, and warmth. Her contribution to Latvian culture is significant; she has helped create hundreds of Radioteātris productions and shaped the Latvian radio cultural space in which several generations of listeners have grown up.
The musical part of the evening will be complemented by musicians:
- Anatolijs Livča (piano)
- Uģis Krūskops (percussion)
- Anna Siksna and Agita Zundure (backing vocalists)
