September is the month when the new academic year starts again, for most people vacations are behind them and the harvest fair will proudly march into Jelgava on September 19. This year, the carrot will be honoured, a wonderful vegetable rich in fiber, valuable vitamins and minerals. Let us honour the carrot! At the autumn harvest and seedling fair, it will be possible to buy seasonal produce, seedlings, and various handicraft and food products. The festive mood will be taken care of by the dance groups of JVPI “Kultūra” – VPDK “Ex Lielupe”, VPDK “Rota”, BJDK “Ieviņa”, TDA “Jaunība” and TDA “Lielupe”. Musical accompaniment will be provided by Gatis Mūrnieks together with a drummer, while the event will be hosted by Inguss Vidiņš. Free admission.
